WASHINGTON: The US Commission on International Religious Freedom has criticised India for not granting visas to its members to visit the country to discuss the state of religious freedom.
A US government body, the commission said that with this denial of visas, India has joined Cuba as the only other nation to have refused to entertain its requests for a visit.
The commission has put out adverse reports over the years on the status of religious freedom in India and many other countries across the world.
