The special commission for the rights of Non-Muslims in the national capital held a prolonged meeting with the delegation of the US Commission on International Religious Freedom chaired by Mr. Leonard Leo visiting Sudan these days.

The delegation reviewed the religious tolerance in Sudan and expressed its contentment on the peaceful religious coexistence in the country.
 
The chairperson of the Special Commission for the rights of Non-Muslims in the national capital, Joshua Dau Diu, said that the commission has acquainted the US visiting delegation with the existing religious freedom in Sudan and the flexibility in applying Sharia laws in northern Sudan without affecting the Non Muslims.
