Washington DC - AllAfrica.com produced a photo essay of Sudan referendum voting at the Alexandria, Virginia, voting station.

Leonard Leo (left) and  Nina Shea (center), commissioners of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, visiting a Sudan referendum polling center in Virginia. Shea said that the peace process "may turn out to be among the most successful purely diplomatic peace efforts in U.S. foreign-policy history."
