(TibetanReview.net, May 03, 2009) — The US Commission on International Religious Freedom, has, in its annual report, named China, along with Myanmar, North Korea, Eritrea, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam, as "egregious" violators of religious freedom. The report, released May 1, recommended that the Obama administration designate them as "countries of particular concern" or CPC.
