Shadi Shahidzadeh is imprisoned for her religious belief and activity.
On May 1, 2023, authorities arrested Shahidzadeh at her home in Tehran reportedly in relation to her being Baha'i. In the days leading up to her arrest, judicial authorities had reportedly summoned her following her requests to obtain a burial permit for her grandmother. Shahidzadeh was taken to Evin Prison.
In July 2023, it was reported that the Tehran Revolutionary Court had sentenced Shahidzadeh among other Baha'is to five years in prison for “membership in illegal groups to disrupt national security.”
In October 2023, it was reported that Branch 36 of the Tehran Court of Appeal had upheld Shahidzadeh's sentence.

On February 14, 2023, authorities in Saransk arrested Shevchuk and transferred him to a detention center after accusing him of participating in religious meetings. Shevchuk was charged with “organizing the activities of a public or religious association or other organization in respect of which a court has adopted a final decision to liquidate or ban activities in connection with extremist activities” (Art. 282.2-1 RCC).
On May 3, 2023, Shevchuk was placed under house arrest.
On August 4, 2023, Shevchuk's house arrest was lifted.

Ivan Neverov was under house arrest for his religious belief and activity.
On February 14, 2023, authorities in Saransk arrested Neverov and transferred him to a detention center after accusing him of participating in religious meetings.
