Manouchehr Rahmani

Manouchehr Rahmani was imprisoned for his religious belief and activity. 

On January 24, 2017, authorities arrested Rahmani in Isfahan under unclear circumstances. He was reportedly denied access to a lawyer.

On May 16, 2017, Rahmani was released on bail.

On November 20, 2017, Branch 1 of the Isfahan Revolutionary Court sentenced Rahmani to five years in prison for "membership in organizations that aim to disrupt national security (Art. 499 IPC). 

On an unspecified date, Branch 23 of the Isfahan Court of Appeals reduced Rahmani's sentence to 20 months in prison.

On January 5, 2019, Rahmani was taken into custody to begin serving his sentence. 

On July 4, 2019, Rahmani was released from prison.
