President of Louisiana Family Forum Gene Mills brings years of experience working on issues involving life, liberty, and limited government in the Louisiana political landscape. Mills has directed the activities of Louisiana Family Forum (LFF), a non-profit research and education organization since its inception in 1997, providing a “Voice for Traditional Families” in Louisiana.

LFF’s network includes the State Policy Network, Washington D.C. based Family Research Council, Alliance Defending Freedom, Focus on the Family, and forty state-level family policy councils nationwide.

His close working relationship with hundreds of pastors has served as a catalyst for faith-based institutions to engage the culture and help restore timeless principles in the political arena. Mills is a regular guest in media venues throughout Louisiana and uses this outlet to voice a message of courage and community connectedness.

Bringing a commitment to family and public service, Mills has been married 40 years to Blanche Bollich Mills. Together, they enjoy the blessings of five sons, three daughters, and eight grandchildren.
