On October 6, 2025, Judge Zhamshid Ibragimov of Samarkand City Criminal Court sentenced him to four years' imprisonment for "Production, storage, distribution or display of materials containing a threat to public security and public order" when carried out by a group (Art. 244-1, Part 3, Point 4).
Aliyev's sentence was suspended, and he was placed under house arrest.

On April 8, 2023, Vietnamese authorities arrested Y Krec Bya, a Montagnard Christian and member of the unsanctioned Evangelical Church of Christ of the Central Highlands.
On March 28, 2024, a court in Dak Lak sentenced him to 13 years' imprisonment and five years' probation for “undermining solidarity.” Y Krec Bya was previously arrested multiple times and sentenced to eight years' imprisonment on similar charges in 2004.
