In December 2024, 15-year-old Meghwar, a Hindu girl from Mirpurkhas Disctrict in Sindh Province, was abducted at gunpoint from her home. She was taken to Umerkot District, where she was forcibly converted to Islam, renamed "Javeriya," and married to her abductor, with her age recorded as 19. Her father was pressured not to file a first information report (FIR). 

In January 2025, Kajol appeared in court, where she claimed she did not recognize her parents and gave testimony in favor of her abductor. During court proceedings, Meghwar confided in her sister, saying she could not go with her parents because her abductors were waiting outside and she feared for her family's safety.

Bheel was soon converted to Islam, renamed "Muskan," and married to one of her abductors, a factory coworker of her father. Her father filed a first information report (FIR) under Sections 365-B and 34 of the Pakistani Penal Code. Police officers dismissed the likelihood of a forced conversion through marriage and failed to recover and produce Bheel in court, leading to a community protest.

In May 2025, 15-year-old Megwhar, a Hindu girl from Rohri Taluka, Sukkur District, was abducted at gunpoint by three armed men who broke into her family's home in the middle of the night. She was forcibly converted to Islam, renamed "Hajra," and married. Her abductor brought her to Barkondi Sharif in District Ghotki, and she produced an affidavit claiming she converted and married of her own free will. Her father filed a first information report (FIR) at Jhangro Police Station, but police authorities failed to recover Meghwar or produce her in court.
