Arshia Rouhani is imprisoned for his religious belief and association.
In October 2023, authorities summoned and arrested Rouhani, a Baháʼí business owner who had previously faced legal action due to his religious beliefs, after raiding and sealing his business. He was released on bail.
In June 2024, Judge Mohammadreza Tavakkoli of Branch 1 of the Isfahan Revolutionary Court sentenced Rouhani to 5 years' imprisonment and fined him 50 million tomans for “propaganda in favor of groups opposed to the state,” “propaganda against the government,” and “membership in groups intending to disrupt national security.” His sentence was later reduced to 2 years' imprisonment and a fine of 25 million tomans.
In May 2025, authorities summoned and arrested Rouhani and imprisoned him at Dastgerd Prison.

Najo Kohli was subjected to forced renunciation of faith.
In February 2025, 13-year-old Kohli, a Hindu girl from Umerkot District, was abducted from her home at midnight by four armed men while they held her parents at gunpoint. The next day, police officers prevented her father from filing a first information report (FIR), stating that his daughter had converted to Islam and was now married. Her conversion certificate falsely recorded her age as 18 and her former religion as Christian. Two weeks later, an FIR was filed.

Kajol Meghwar was subjected to forced renunciation of faith.
In December 2024, 15-year-old Meghwar, a Hindu girl from Mirpurkhas Disctrict in Sindh Province, was abducted at gunpoint from her home. She was taken to Umerkot District, where she was forcibly converted to Islam, renamed "Javeriya," and married to her abductor, with her age recorded as 19. Her father was pressured not to file a first information report (FIR).
In January 2025, Kajol appeared in court, where she claimed she did not recognize her parents and gave testimony in favor of her abductor. During court proceedings, Meghwar confided in her sister, saying she could not go with her parents because her abductors were waiting outside and she feared for her family's safety.
