Guan Xingtao is imprisoned for his religious activity.
On November 9, 2018, authorities in Daqing municipality, Heilongjiang province, arrested Guan alongside dozens of Falun Gong practitioners, including his wife, Wu Yanhua.
On September 29, 2019, Ranghulu People's Court sentenced Guan to eight years in prison and fined him 30,000 yuan for "organizing or using a cult to undermine implementation of the law" (Art. 300 CCL).
Guan is reportedly serving his sentence in Hulan Prison.
Guan was previously sentenced to ten years in prison for the same charge in 2003.

Li Guo'ai is imprisoned for her religious activity.
On June 9, 2017, authorities in Shanhaiguan district, Qinhuangdao municipality, Hebei province, arrested 6 Falun Gong practitioners, including Li, and one of their wives.
In July 2017, Li was reportedly charged with “undermining law enforcement," which is believed to be a reference to "organizing or using a cult to undermine implementation of the law" (Art. 300 CCL). Police reportedly seized yuan notes with Falun Gong slogans printed on them in Li's possession.
On January 9, 2019, the Changli County People’s Court in Qinhuangdao sentenced Li to 10 years in prison.
On June 7, 2019, Li's appeal was rejected.

On April 19, 2018, public security officers in Wuhan municipality, Hubei province, arrested Hong and four other Falun Gong practitioners at an apartment in Hongshan district, Wuhan.
In September 2019, the Hongshan District People’s Court sentenced Hong to 10 years in prison. The charges were unspecified.
On an unspecified date, the Wuhan Intermediate People’s Court rejected Hong's appeal.
Hong is believed to be at Fanjiatai Prison in Shayang county, Jingmen municipality, Hubei.
