Liu Junhua is imprisoned for his religious belief and activity.
On October 24, 2017, officers from the Heze Public Security Bureau Mudan Branch arrested Liu while he was writing scrips for church videos at a colleague's home in Zhanghuayuan village, Danyang sub-district, Mudan district, Heze city, Shandong Province. Authorities reportedly seized religious materials, electronics, cash, and other items.
On August 8, 2018, the Mudan District People’s Court of Heze City sentenced Liu to ten years in prison and fined him 50,000 yuan for "organizing or using a cult to undermine implementation of the law" (Art. 300 CCL).
On an unspecified date, the Heze Intermediate People’s Court of Shandong Province rejected Liu's appeal.
Liu was sent to Weibei Prison, Shandong to serve his sentence.

On September 12, 2018, officers from the Chengbei Police Station in Poyang county detained Wang reportedly in relation to her religious belief.
On On May 13, 2019, the People’s Court of Qianshan County sentenced Wang to eight years and six months in prison and fined her 30,000 yuan for "organizing or using a cult to undermine implementation of the law" (Art. 300 CCL).
Wang was sent to Jiangxi Women’s Prison to serve her term.

Xu Yanping is imprisoned for her religious belief and activity.
On June 29, 2018, officers from the Poyang County Public Security Bureau of Shangrao city detained Xu reportedly in relation to her role delivering and distributing religious materials to church members. Police reportedly confiscated electronics containing religious materials and other items. Xu was reportedly tortured while detained in order to provide information of other church members.
On May 13, 2019, People’s Court of Qianshan county sentenced Xu to seven years in prison and fined her 20,000 yuan for "organizing or using a cult to undermine implementation of the law" (Art. 300 CCL).
Xu is believed to be serving her sentence at Jiangxi Provincial Women’s Prison.
