On October 12, 2016, Russian security forces arrested Saledinov and several others after raiding their homes in Crimea and confiscating religious literature and electronics. Saledinov was accused of being a member of the Hizb ut-Tahrir organization.
On June 18, 2019, the North Caucasian District Military Court sentenced Saledinov to 12 years in prison for “participating in the activities of an organization…recognized as terrorist” (Art. 205.5-2 RCC).
On December 24, 2019, the Supreme Court reduced Saledinov's sentence by six months, making it 11 years and six months in prison.
Saledinov is married with four children.

On March 14, 2017, authorities arrested Salakhudtinov after accusing him of being a member of the banned Hizb ut-Tahrir organization. He and his colleagues allegedly organized meetings to discuss politics, strategies for reaching out to other Muslims about the organization, and the application of Islamic law norms in everyday life.
On February 5, 2020, the Volga District Military Court sentenced Salakhudtinov to 14 years in prison for “participating in the activities of an organization…recognized as terrorist” (Art. 205.5-2 RCC).
On May 31, 2021, Salakhudtinov's sentence was upheld.
Salakhudtinov has one child.

On February 25, 2014, authorities arrested Salakhov after accusing him of organizing a cell of the banned Hizb ut-Tahrir organization. Prosecutors accused him of holding meetings for the organization, reading and discussing religious literature, discussing world events, and raising funds.
On June 10, 2015, the Moscow District Military Court sentenced Salakhov to 10 years and six months in prison for "organizing the activities of an organization…recognized as terrorist" (Art. 205.5-1 RCC) and “organizing the activities of a public or religious association or other organization in respect of which a court has adopted a final decision to liquidate or ban activities in connection with extremist activities” (Art. 282.2-1 RCC).
Salakhov is married with four children.
