Ma Chunlan is imprisoned for her religious belief and activity.
On August 31, 2017, officers from the Xuzhou City Pei County Public Security Bureau and Zizhuang Town Police Station detained Ma reportedly while Ma was dealing with church affairs at a fellow church member's home. Police reportedly seized cash, electronics, and religious books and materials.
On April 23, 2019, the Gulou District People’s Court of Xuzhou City sentenced Ma to seven years and six months in prison for "organizing or using a cult to undermine implementation of the law" (Art. 300 CCL).
Ma was sent to Nantong Women's Prison in Jiangsu Province to serve her sentence.

On March 11, 2009, police arrested He in Xuchang city, Henan province reportedly in relation to his religious leadership role responsible for the church's work in mainland China.
In February 2010, the Zhongyuan District People’s Court of Zhengzhou city, Henan, sentenced He to 15 years in prison for "organizing or using a cult to undermine implementation of the law" (Art. 300 CCL).
He is believed to be serving his sentence at Henan No. 1 Prison. He is reportedly being subjected to enhanced security measures while in prison.

Wang Zongming was imprisoned for his religious belief and activity.
On August 29, 2016, authorities detained Wang in Bengbu city while he was at a church gathering, filming church videos.
In July 2018, the Yuhui District People’s Court of Bengbu city, Anhui province, sentenced Wang to four years in prison and fined him 8,000 yuan for "organizing or using a cult to undermine implementation of the law" (Art. 300 CCL).
Wang's sentence should have ended in August 2020.
