Danis Faizrakhmanov is imprisoned for his religious belief and activity.
On February 4, 2015, authorities arrested Faizrakhmanov after accusing him of being a member of the banned Hizb ut-Tahrir organization. He was initially charged with “participating in the activities of an organization…recognized as terrorist” (Art. 205.5-2 RCC).
In January 2016, Faizrakhmanov was also charged with "preparing for actions aimed at the forcible seizure of power or the forcible retention of power” (Art. 30-1/Art. 278 RCC), and his previous charge was reclassified as "organizing the activities of an organization…recognized as terrorist" (Art. 205.5-1 RCC).
On July 30, 2018, the Volga District Military Court sentenced Faizrakhmanov to 22 years in prison and one year and six months of restricted freedom for "organizing the activities of an organization…recognized as terrorist" (Art. 205.5-1 RCC) and "preparing for actions aimed at the forcible seizure of power or the forcible retention of power” (Art. 30-1/Art. 278 RCC). Faizrakhmanov was also fined 500,000 rubles.

Arsen Dzhepparov was imprisoned for his alleged religious activity.
On April 18, 2016, authorities arrested Dzhepparov after accusing him of being a member of the Hizb ut-Tahrir organization. He and his colleagues allegedly held meetings where they studied the organization's literature and ideology and discussed political and social issues.
On November 12, 2019, Dzhepparov was sentenced to seven years in prison and one year of restricted freedom for “participating in the activities of an organization…recognized as terrorist” (Art. 205.5-2 RCC) and "preparing for actions aimed at the forcible seizure of power or the forcible retention of power” (Art. 30-1/Art. 278 RCC). Dzhepparov was tried alongside five other defendants, all Crimean Tatar Muslims, many of whom were prominently involved in political opposition to the occupation and human rights advocacy.
On June 25, 2020, Dzhepparov's sentence was upheld.
On April 17, 2023, Dzhepparov was released from prison after completing his sentence.
Dzhepparov is married with one child.

Emil Dzhemadenov is imprisoned for his alleged religious activity.
On October 12, 2016, Russian security forces arrested Dzhemadenov and several others after raiding their homes in Crimea and confiscating religious literature and electronics. Dzhemadenov was accused of being a member of the Hizb ut-Tahrir organization.
On June 18, 2019, the North Caucasian District Military Court sentenced Dzhemadenov to 12 years in prison for “participating in the activities of an organization…recognized as terrorist” (Art. 205.5-2 RCC).
On December 24, 2019, the Supreme Court reduced Dzhemadenov's sentence by six months, making it 11 years and six months in prison.
Dzhemadenov is married with three children.
