Arash Nabavi is imprisoned for his religious belief and association.
In August 2023, authorities arrested Nabavi, a Baháʼí citizen. After two months, he was released on bail.
In July 2024, Judge Mohammadreza Tavakkoli of Branch 1 of the Isfahan Revolutionary Court sentenced Nabavi to 10 years' imprisonment for “membership in groups intending to disrupt national security,” and “propaganda against Islamic law.” His sentence was later reduced to 5 years' imprisonment.
In May 2025, authorities summoned, arrested, and imprisoned Nabavi at Dastgerd Prison.
