Ashfaq Masih is imprisoned and sentenced to death for blasphemy.
In June 2017, authorities arrested Masih, a bicycle mechanic, following a dispute with a customer. Authorities charged Masih with "insulting the Prophet Muhammad" (Sec. 295-C PPC).
In July 2022, Session Judge Khalid Wazir sentenced Masih to death by hanging.
