Hossein Mohammadi is imprisoned for his religious conversion and activity. 

In December 2023, 30 Iranian intelligence agents raided Mohammadi's house church in Shahriar and arrested him. 

In July 2024, authorities at Branch 2 of the Revolutionary Court of Shahriar County sentenced him to two years' imprisonment for membership in a "group with the aim of disrupting national security" (Art. 498 IPC).
