Pang Qing is imprisoned for her religious belief and activity.
On January 10, 2018, officers from the Public Security Bureau in the Mosuowan Reclamation Area detained Pang reportedly in relation to her religious belief, religious leadership role, organizing of religious meetings, and preaching.
On April 1, 2019, the Mosuowan Reclamation Area People’s Court in Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps sentenced Pang to six years in prison and fined her 8,000 yuan for "organizing or using a cult to undermine implementation of the law" (Art. 300 CCL).
