Victim NP-0279 is detained for her religious activity. 

In 2004, Ministry of State Security officials detained NP-0279, a minor at the time, along with 18 other victims, for her involvement in an underground church led by two families. Authorities confined her at North Pyongan Provincial MSS Detention Center, where female detainees, including children, are subjected to forced nudity and invasive cavity searches. Authorities transferred her to Chongjin Susong political prison camp indefinitely.
