Zahra Gholami

Zahra Gholami is imprisoned for her religious conversion and activity. 

In December 2023, several dozen Iranian intelligence agents raided Gholami's house church in Shahriar and arrested her. 

In February 2024, Gholami was released on bail. 

In July 2024, authorities sentenced her to 2 years' imprisonment for membership in a "group with the aim of disrupting national security" (Art. 498 IPC). In November 2025, Gholami reported to prison to serve her sentence.
