Svyatoslav Yugov is imprisoned for his religious activity.
In April 2023, authorities detained Yugov, former pastor of the New Generation Church in Chelyabinsk. Yugov was accused of organizing a conference and promoting the activities of New Generation Church, which authorities designated as "undesirable." Yugov was charged with "organizing the activities of a foreign or international non-governmental organization in respect of which a decision has been made to recognize its activities as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation" (Art. 284.1-3 RCC).
On July 18, 2023, the Ramensky City Court of the Moscow Region reportedly sentenced Yugov to three years and six months in prison.
On October 12, 2023, the Moscow Regional Court upheld Yugov's sentence.

Ulitin was accused of organizing a conference and promoting the activities of New Generation Church, which authorities designated as "undesirable." Ulitin was charged with "organizing the activities of a foreign or international non-governmental organization in respect of which a decision has been made to recognize its activities as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation" (Art. 284.1-3 RCC).

Stanislav Moskvitin was imprisoned for his religious leadership role.
On March 13, 2023, the Kirovsky District Court of Omsk sentenced Moskvitin, the the pastor of the New Creation Apostolic Church, to one year and six months in prison for "creating a religious or public association whose activities involve violence against citizens or other harm to their health, as well as leadership of such an association" (Art. 239.1 RCC). Authorities accused Moskvitin of causing psychological harm to his parishioners by using psychological techniques to brainwash parishioners. Moskvitin was taken into custody following the verdict.
On August 15, 2023, the Omsk Regional Court reduced Moskvitin's sentence to one year and six months' suspended imprisonment. Moskvitin was released following the verdict.
