Zhuang Youbu is imprisoned for his religious activity.
On July 1, 2016, police in Ningde municipality, Fujian province, detained Zhuang in relation to her production and dissemination of Falun Gong promotional materials.
On May 10, 2017, the Jiaocheng People's Court sentenced Zhuang to ten years in prison for "organizing or using a cult to undermine implementation of the law" (Art. 300 CCL) and fined him 30,000 yuan.
On August 2, 2017, the Ningde Intermediate People's Court rejected Zhuang's appeal.
