Jiang Ruirui was imprisoned for her religious belief and activity.
On July 25, 2014, authorities detained Jiang, a leader of the Church of Almighty God, reportedly while she was attending a worship meeting in Wanggou town, Feng county, Xuzhou city. Her detention was related to her religious leadership role, organizing of worship gatherings, and being in possession of electronics containing religious content. Jiang was reportedly deprived of sleep for several day during interrogation.
On July 9, 2015, the Feng County People’s Court of Jiangsu Province sentenced Jiang to eight years and six months in prison for "organizing or using a cult to undermine implementation of the law" (Art. 300 CCL).
Jiang's sentence should have ended in January 2023.

Kou Zijuan was imprisoned for her religious belief and activity.
On June 25, 2013, authorities detained Kou from her home in Gaoqiao town, Yinzhou district, Ningbo city, Zhejiang province. Authorities accused her of being a church leader who helped organize religious gatherings and preaching.
On October 17, 2014, the Yinzhou District People’s Court of Ningbo City sentenced Kou to ten years in prison and two years' deprived political rights for "organizing or using a cult to undermine implementation of the law" (Art. 300 CCL).
Kou's sentence should have ended in June 2023.

Dong Qihong is imprisoned for his religious belief and activity.
On May 16, 2013, police officers with Huai’an Public Security Bureau Huaiyin Branch detained Dong in relation to his production and transportation of religious materials.
On December 15, 2014, the Dafeng City People’s Court of Jiangsu Province sentenced Dong to 12 years in prison and four years' deprived political rights for "organizing or using a cult to undermine implementation of the law" (Art. 300 CCL).
It is reported that Dong was physically and verbally assaulted by inmates while imprisoned for refusing to renounce his faith.
