On January 7, 2019, police in Yushu city, Changchun municipality, Jilin province, detained Ding alongside two colleagues after they hung a banner that read “Falun Dafa Is Good.” Authorities later raided her home.
On August 13, 2019, the Dehui Municipal People’s Court in Changchun sentenced Ding to four years and six months in prison.
Ding's sentence should have ended in July 2023.

Zheng Jinling was imprisoned for her religious activity.
On September 6, 2015, authorities from from Tongliao municipality, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (IMAR), arrested four Falun Gong practitioners, including Zheng, as they distributed Falun Gong materials near Tongliao.
On July 29, 2016, the Ke'erqin District People's Court in Tongliao sentenced Zheng to seven years in prison.
Zheng is believed to be serving her time at the Inner Mongolia Women's Prison located in Saihan district, Huhehaote (Hohhot) municipality, IMAR.
Zheng's sentence should have ended in September 2022.

On November 25, 2018, authorities from Lulong county, Qinhuangdao municipality, Hebei province, detained Pei and her husband, Li Yanchun, for distributing Falun Gong calendars in Lulong. Authorities later raided their home, seizing their computer and other printed materials. Li was eventually released on bail due to his poor health..
On August 27, 2019, the Changli County People's Court in Qinhuangdao sentenced Pei was to four years in prison and fined her 5,000 yuan.
Pei's sentence should have ended in November 2022.
